Malayali representation hiked

1) It is the time to celebrations to Congress party in kerala. First time in Kerala history they got six ministers in Central ministry. A.K. Antony and Vayalar Ravi sworn in as cabinet ministers with Prime minister Manmohun Singh early last week. Today new list of ministers were out. K.V.Thomas, Mullapalli Ramachandran, Sasi Tharoor and E.Ahammad were got place in the list. The new entrants will hopeful to get prominent portfolios. Total 59 members got reprasentation in the list.

Brooke called on Narayanan
Pak and Afghan special envoy of US, Richard Hall Brooke visited M.K. Narayanan, Indian National Security adviser. They discussed the policy of Obama about the terrorist activities in Pakistan and Afghanistan. US asked India’s assistance in deal with the terrorism in Pak Afghan boarder. US Army Admiral Mike Mullen was also with Richard Hall Brooke. They came in India late midnight subsequent to Pakistan visit.

We does't want NDF's vote sys CPI(M) state secretary Pinaryi Vjayan. NDF grow with the patronship of Muslim league and UDF he added. Pinaryi Vijayan was reacting to the reports about the support of NDF to UDF in Kuttiyadi. Police files case against E.P.Jayarajan

Kannure town police registred case against E.P.Jayarajan, Kannure CPI(M) district secretary P.Sasi and 200 others. Disturbing the election bureaucrats and blocking them from their duty were the charges against CPI(M) leaders.

Varun 'shortlisted'

1) Rasheed Malbari shortlisted VrunGandhi to hit list. Karnataka home minister V.S. Acharya was disclosed this today. Rasheed Malbari, a collegue of underworld don Davood Ibrahim, is under the custody of Karnataka police. Earlier some news about the threat was spread through media. But UP government denied it. Some other prominent leaders are also in the list but disclosing of details will affect the investigation, Acharya said. Rasheed Malbari was arrested on march 27 with four others. He will be handed over to inter pole. Centre will decide the date.

24 indian foshermen arrested in Srilanka
2) Twenty four fishermen were arrested in Srilanka for breaching the International sea boundary. There equipments were also taken into custody by Srilankan Navy. They were caught near Kachatheevu Island.

Lavlin; oppositin met Gevorner

1) Opposition leaders in Kerala Assembly called on Kerala Governer R.S.Gavai to express their concern over delaying prosecution steps in Lavline case. They demanded the speeding up of prosecution steps. In this case advocate general asked government to submit more papers about procedures about Lavline investigation. so the Opposition visited Governor.

P.M.K. join hands with Jaya

1) P.M.K alias Pattali Makkal Kakshi leaves the company with U.P.A. and join hands with jayalalitha. General Council of P.M.K held today took the decision, said PMK leader Ramdos. In last election they fought in five seats and won all the seats. They have the vote share of seven percent. It is very valuable in Tamilnadu because the narrow vote share will decide the victors. Through this pact with AIADMK of Jayalalitha PMK seven seats and one Rajyasabha seat.

Captain G.R.Gopinath contest in election

2) Captain G.R.Gopinath, founder of Air Deccan; a low budget flight company, will contest in election from Banglore. He will not seek support from any political parties. According to him no party have the inside democracy.

Accident kills malayali student in Koyambathore
4) The bike accident killed two students including a malayali. The bikes were collided face to face with each other. Arjun Raj, native of Kozhikode, who studying in CMS College Koyambathoore and Sunder, native of Koyambathoore were killed in the accident.
