Brooke called on Narayanan
Pak and Afghan special envoy of US, Richard Hall Brooke visited M.K. Narayanan, Indian National Security adviser. They discussed the policy of Obama about the terrorist activities in Pakistan and Afghanistan. US asked India’s assistance in deal with the terrorism in Pak Afghan boarder. US Army Admiral Mike Mullen was also with Richard Hall Brooke. They came in India late midnight subsequent to Pakistan visit.

We does't want NDF's vote; Pinaryi

We does't want NDF's vote sys CPI(M) state secretary Pinaryi Vjayan. NDF grow with the patronship of Muslim league and UDF he added. Pinaryi Vijayan was reacting to the reports about the support of NDF to UDF in Kuttiyadi. They are opposing Sasi Tharoor and K.V.Thomas and in all other seats they supports candidates of UDF, what is the logic he asked.

Police files case against E.P.Jayarajan

Kannure town police registred case against E.P.Jayarajan, Kannure CPI(M) district secretary P.Sasi and 200 others. Disturbing the election bureaucrats and blocking them from their duty were the charges against CPI(M) leaders.

Varun 'shortlisted'

1) Rasheed Malbari shortlisted VrunGandhi to hit list. Karnataka home minister V.S. Acharya was disclosed this today. Rasheed Malbari, a collegue of underworld don Davood Ibrahim, is under the custody of Karnataka police. Earlier some news about the threat was spread through media. But UP government denied it. Some other prominent leaders are also in the list but disclosing of details will affect the investigation, Acharya said. Rasheed Malbari was arrested on march 27 with four others. He will be handed over to inter pole. Centre will decide the date.

24 indian foshermen arrested in Srilanka
2) Twenty four fishermen were arrested in Srilanka for breaching the International sea boundary. There equipments were also taken into custody by Srilankan Navy. They were caught near Kachatheevu Island.
