1) BJP's fire brand young leader Varun Gandhi surrendered in Philibith court. Court had sent him under judicial custody. He reached Philibith after withdrawing his bail application in Delhi court. 1) Opposition leaders in Kerala Assembly called on Kerala Governer R.S.Gavai to express their concern over delaying prosecution steps in Lavline case. They demanded the speeding up of prosecution steps. In this case advocate general asked government to submit more papers about procedures about Lavline investigation. so the Opposition visited Governor.

P.M.K. join hands with Jaya

1) P.M.K alias Pattali Makkal Kakshi leaves the company with U.P.A. and join hands with jayalalitha. General Council of P.M.K held today took the decision, said PMK leader Ramdos. In last election they fought in five seats and won all the seats. They have the vote share of seven percent. It is very valuable in Tamilnadu because the narrow vote share will decide the victors. Through this pact with AIADMK of Jayalalitha PMK seven seats and one Rajyasabha seat.

Accident kills malayali student in Koyambathore
4) The bike accident killed two students including a malayali. The bikes were collided face to face with each other. Arjun Raj, native of Kozhikode, who studying in CMS College Koyambathoore and Sunder, native of Koyambathoore were killed in the accident.

1) We were kicked out from left democratic front; JDS leader M.P. Veerendrakumar said. There is no offer of Rajyasabha seat to us if we lost in Vayanad Loksabha constituency, he added. We didn't contest in election. But we strongly react. JDS will conduct political explanation rallies over the state.

2) Shahida Kamal, UDF fielder in Kasaragode, facing severe protest in constituency. Some posters were stamped in kanjagadu. These posters claimed that it's father is youth congress. But youth congress leaders denied it.

Drought ends after 33 years


1) At last the history came to the way of India. They writes history in NewZealand soil by won a test. Sachin and Dravid with bat, Harbhajan and munnaf with ball. No it was a history written by Team India. It was victory after 33 years. Last time in 1976, India won in Okland, Chandrasekhar, Prasenna, Gavaskar, Amarnath were key in that victory.


In Hamilton India won by 10 wickets. NewZealand was bundled out for 279 in second innings like first innings. Harbhajan took six wickets and became a key player in victory. Now India lead the series by 1-0.

2) Electricity consumption at record

Keralites use record unit electricity amid electricity shortage. Kerala uses 492.9 lakh unit electricity today. Use of electricity upsurged from last two days. Due to SSLC exam there no power cut till march 25.

C.P.I will decide the independent candidate and also they will contest in Thiruvananthapuram, mavelikkara, thrisure. While C.P.I. assistent secretary K.E. Ismael said, C.P.I will contest on four seats. One seat was allotted for Kerala Congress. The discussions with janatadal will continue. C.P.I.(M) is hopeful to solve problems with JD.
